My innate curiosity coupled with compassion has driven my career as a multimedia journalist for more than a decade. I quickly see the heart of a story and focus on the visuals and details needed to tell that story in an engaging way. I seek to reveal the human-interest element whether it be breaking news or a feature.

Journalism is a collaborative process that, at the heart, depends on reliable sources, sound and fair reporting and accuracy. I understand the daily pressures of producing quality content for all modes of media. How a story is told is just as important—if not more so—as the story itself.

As a staff reporter for the Boston Business Journal, I delivered live reports on television for New England Cable News and have been a guest on WGBH’s “Greater Boston.” I know how to adapt stories across multiple platforms and have produced digital content on a daily basis as the former Boston and Cape Cod and Islands editor for the nationally renowned Zagat restaurant guide.

My stories have appeared in The Boston Globe, Boston magazine, Yankee Magazine, Wine Spectator, Nation’s Restaurant News, and TimeOut Travel Guides, and London’s Guitar Magazine

 I am obsessed with the creative process, the alchemy that happens when turning raw footage or notes into a compelling story that not only informs but has the ability to change lives.
